Sentient Workspaces Joins Forces with Local Charities to Brighten the Holiday Season for Seniors and Families in Need

This holiday season, Sentient Workspaces is partnering with two local charities to support community members in need: The Christmas Gala and the Bensalem Township Fire Department. As a community-driven coworking space, Sentient is committed to helping our neighbors, and this year’s charitable collaborations bring a special focus to seniors and families needing extra support during the holidays. By hosting events and setting up collection bins, the Pennsylvania coworking space is making it easy for members to contribute to these meaningful causes.

The Christmas Gala: Bringing Joy to Seniors in Bucks County

The Christmas Gala is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping seniors and supporting mental health groups in Bucks County, PA, and the surrounding areas. Their mission is to make the holiday season brighter for seniors who might otherwise be overlooked during this time of year. A central part of their outreach, the Angel Program, collects wish lists from seniors, which are then distributed to local businesses and individuals who fulfill the wishes by purchasing gifts. The program ensures that seniors receive holiday gifts, showing them they are remembered and appreciated by their community.

Sentient Workspaces is thrilled to support this cause by donating its event space for The Christmas Gala’s Angel Program kickoff event. This event marks the beginning of the season, inspiring community members and businesses to join in and help make holiday wishes come true for local seniors. Our members and staff are encouraged to participate by adopting a senior’s wish list or by donating directly to the program, allowing more seniors to feel the warmth and generosity of the season.

Supporting Local Families with the Bensalem Township Fire Department

In addition to supporting seniors, Sentient is proud to join forces with the Bensalem Township Fire Department to assist families in need. The fire department hosts an annual canned food and toy drive that supports over 400 families during the holiday season, collecting essential items to ensure these families experience the joy of Christmas without added financial stress.

Starting in early November, Sentient Workspaces will have a collection bin provided by the Bensalem Township Fire Department placed in our lobby, where members can drop off canned foods and toys for donation. This collection will continue until mid-December, giving members ample time to make contributions. From nourishing meals to toys that bring excitement and wonder, these donations will help create a memorable holiday season for many local families.

Committed to amplifying the fire department’s efforts, the shared workspace company is encouraging all of its members to bring in canned goods or toys to support this vital initiative. Together, we can make a tangible difference for families in need, offering them hope and holiday cheer through the kindness of our workspace community.

Giving Back for the Holidays

This holiday season, Sentient is more than a place to work—it’s a place to give back. By teaming up with The Christmas Gala and the Bensalem Township Fire Department, we’re making it easy for members to spread holiday cheer to those who need it most. Every toy, canned good, and fulfilled wish list brings a little more joy and compassion into our community, reminding us all of the true spirit of the season.

So, whether you’re dropping off a canned good, adopting a senior’s wish list, or donating a toy, every act of kindness counts. Join us in making this holiday season brighter for local seniors and families. Let’s deck the halls with goodwill and make this a season to remember!
